For those building a thoughtful brand or project
A peek into my creation thought process and an offical invitation to our collective workshop table.
Dear reader,
I initially was going to send this as a marketing email so... Not on Substack. But alas, my domain is taking forever to get verified and I don’t want my emails to get flagged as spam. The contents here will be worthwhile for you if you are a creative - thoughtful - maker (or aspiring maker), or if you signed up for The Creator’s Map waitlist.
Otherwise, I welcome you to stick around if you’d like to get a behind the scenes look at a community experience I’m bringing together, and my thought process behind it: the vision, environment, what to expect, and more.
The Creator’s Map is a guided, actionable, and reflective incubator experience for creatives, multi-passionates, founders, and aspiring online entrepreneurs. This is for you if you want to Start A Project that has any kind of online publishing component.
If you’ve been on the Internet for a while… You’re no stranger to online courses and programs. I’ve invested tens of thousands of dollars into different ones, helping me grow in many areas of my life — I can’t tell you how much I’ve gained in skills, wisdom, community, tenacity, and how those investments have compounded over the years. I’m grateful for the many incredible mentors on my path. I’ve also worked behind the scenes for many! Online education has been the primary industry I’ve served over the last five years, so I’ve seen it evolve, and have seen and built the gears on the back-end.
So Camille, why have you been hiding behind your clients rather than putting out work that you’re deeply passionate about?
I explore that… and how I’ve structured this experience to address my needs and roadblocks below.
Shall we take a walk?

The freedom to walk your own path
Deeply thoughtful, sensitive people, creatives, artists… and commerce don’t always crossover without tension. We see a vision. We have the taste. We know we want to be of service. But the templates we receive from some courses that are supposed to teach us the technicalities of everything outside of our “art” are rigid. Limiting. They don’t always fit.
We’re advised we need to cram our message into an “I help X with Y” description for our bio.
That we need to post “content” simply to be visible, even if we know it doesn’t reflect the substance we want it to say.
That we should put things out fast so we get the feedback we need, but then don’t have the confidence to sell anything because we don’t fully believe in the product we’ve created.
Many of the above directions hold some truth. But rushing into them sets us up for overwhelm, paralysis, and burn out. As creatives, we often need to walk our own path and learn through our lived experiences. It’s THIS that helps us create something we can proudly back and share with others it may serve with confidence.
Having a map with check points, guides, and people around us make the process clearer and more enjoyable, but being given a step-by-step Google-maps style listed directions and templates don’t always fit. We need guides, but ultimately we need to make the decisions that integrate into our own lives. To walk our own paths.
The Creator’s Map provides you with those check points: short and actionable exercises multiple times a week to help you make progress. They're designed to take 5-15 mins (or as long as you like—let yourself get creative) throughout 30-days. Our goal is clarity, steps taken, and an open space for support and encouragement where needed.

For those who don’t have a “project or business idea” but feel the pull to begin one
You know those topics that have always been important to you? It’s reflected in the conversations of depth you love having. In the content you find yourself logging hours watching. Sometimes it’s reflected in how you spent your childhood summers…
They’re important.
They’re an indicator of ways you can make use of what already sparks your creativity, and serve + connect with others who view the world similarly.
It might not originally come through as a business idea (and you also don’t have to turn it into one… for example, my friend Naomi hosts dinner clubs bringing unique perspectives together for the fun of it!), but you gain clarity through the process of creation. Every step forward, every iteration, brings a clearer picture of what fits for you.
And if you’re thinking, oh Camille, I’m not a designer or a painter or coach, I don’t have anything to offer. Creativity is inherent. It’s not limited to tactile works. It’s your way of seeing the world and noticing the gaps. Your ideas are important. And in fact, if you’re quieter and sensitive, you likely have a better pulse on what the world needs than those with more audacity to openly share online. You simply need a safe space to begin.
The Creator’s Map provides a private community where you can throw around the ideas that come up in your personal reflection time, get feedback, find collaborators, and begin trialing things, and seeing how they take shape.
Together, we’ll explore the different project pathways you can start based on who you are, ways to monetize if this is a priority, and most importantly: discerning offers that integrate into your life. You’re encouraged to create something that protects and enhances the important areas of your life — That’s how I’m crafting this experience too!
The material is created with those on part-time hours in mind (moms and full-time workers are most welcome). You'll have the flexibility to reflect on the exercise whenever it's convenient for you, take it away as a retreat for yourself, think of what's applicable to you, and share your reflections with the community. It’s not mandatory, but the more you engage with the community, the more accountability and support you'll receive, and often that's where the magic and momentum is :)

A flexible approach to get making
Inspired by community workshops, this experience is the opposite of a lecture. It’s not an evergreen course where you need to watch 20 modules of recorded videos.
It’s a space where we will dive into topics like:
intentional living (project-building / life integration)
looking at our unique story, gifts, interests, curiosities etc. to discover potential projects and business ideas
guidance on validating a business idea
figuring out who to serve and how to reach them
basics of design to appeal to the person you want to serve
optimization fundamentals to reach your audience
sustainable content systems
and each ingredient to building an online system that allows you to step out of the weeds and take your next right step
Through the private community in The Creator’s Map, accountability is built-in. The community (and I) will encourage you to take action and build endurance, without the need to compare. It’s not a project showcase. It’s the community worktable to get messy — we’ll clean up later!
Ok, ok—Thanks for the thought process and the inspo board Camille. But what is it really?
I’m getting to it, thanks for sticking with me! Here’s the concrete rundown:
WHAT TO EXPECT
A 3-stage, monthly guided incubator:
DISCERN (starts July 7)
DESIGN (~September)
DEPLOY (~November)
Each 30-day period includes short video/audio lessons on fundamentals of online business, live workshops and recorded tutorials also available upon request
3–4 weekly exercises that help you reflect, then act (no fluff, they should take 5–15 mins each). Take a day or two with each exercise and share with the community for accountability!
Private community access to ask me questions, share your work, and connect with others
Exclusive access to my private consulting link: If you need additional private support, this is the only space where you can schedule a 1-hour strategy call or Loom-recorded feedback if our timezones don’t align
THIS IS FOR YOU, IF…
You're thoughtful about your work. You want an online presence that reflects your humanity. You refuse to dilute your message for algorithms.
You want to create something that's uniquely yours. Your work is mission-driven.
You care to build something that lasts. Something that addresses a timeless need and won't be gone with fleeting trends.
You are seeking a community of like-minded who are also “in the game” and can walk with you as you pave your path.
You’re creating a project that requires some element of a public presence online
I am so honoured to put this together and share it with you. It’s an outpouring of a lot of what I’ve learned in life… and I’m excited that some of you can help shape it with me.
Whether you're in a stage of discernment about your business / project, designing a sustainable infrastructure, or deploying and stewarding your work so it serves others well, I hope you consider taking those steps with us!
You can join us as a founding cohort member if you're in! We start July 7.
Each month is a focused stage — Join all three from the start and lock in early founder's pricing, OR jump in when you’re ready!
The Founder's Cohort (who are super helpful in running with me to refine The Creator's Map) lock-in the price at $88 (70% off + the next two stages free!).
When you join as an Early Founder, you’ll be grandfathered into Stage 2 and 3 at no extra cost.
If you have any questions, you can always reply directly to this email or leave a comment below.
I CAN’T WAIT! Let’s create with clarity, purpose, and peace.
Warmly,
Camille
Final Note:
I am well aware that the content and nature of programs like these typically cost north of 3-4 figures. Because my goal has always been to keep these resources accessible for those who need it most, I’d truly appreciate your support to reach more people who can benefit from this experience so this offer can be sustainable for me to provide. Thank you so much in advance!
